Ugh dude I can't wait! Also how'd you embed the video?[/b]

That video isn't embedded. It's just a thumbnail link that opens in another window. If it were embedded, it would actually play in that post.

JeffMS6 go with an HKS it still rubs some but beautiful sound..[/b]

You know what... I dug up my old Turbosmart Dual Port BOV and put back on my MS6. So what if it rubs. It sounds awesome. And I tell you it really performs well. Something about that combination of recirculation and venting just makes the MS6 happy.

Looks very, very nice, but sounds like arse. Not that BOV in particular, but every last one of them. Sorry man, it's just my opinion. I really think BOV's are obnoxious and wayy too Fast & Not so Furious. Force fed cars that come with a recirculating BPV should stay that way, I have seen many of cars that aren't supposed to have a BOV, but a BPV instead have serious issues down the road when a BOV is put in place of the stock recirculating setup. (Turbo will suffer from harsh spikes)

Bottom line is it's your car and set it up whatever way you want that makes you happy.

Sorry man, just being honest and again, my opinion and my wife tells me all the time my opinions are stupid and suck. She's usually right ;-(

Pssssssss, shooooooo. ;-)

Well I would agree with you but the stock BPV leaks like a sieve (siv) so hence the upgrade.

And I agree with you, but there are appropriate upgrades that don't go "Woo, woo" look at my car you non-turbo car driver next to me.

Sorry Eric, I know I'm a dick. Love me or hate me, I'll still speak my mind and more or less be a dick ;-) Now how about that decal we spoke of ;-)

Oh I have the same BOV as him ;) I agree there are but not very many and not many that recirc. a Forge BOV sounds like a damn blacksmith is under your hood banking away... Other than that there isn't too many I'm not a fan of Greddy and that leaves HKS which I've already done and was a solid piece.

lol...I gotta hear one. Everyone raves about it...but I have yet to hear a BOV that VTA's, that sounds good. So far, HKS FTW.

VAG more than anything because that's what I was into, but it stands true for any car that has a recirculating setup. The closed system is expecting the pressurized air to return once TB opens back up, if this does not happen the turbo suffers due to the surge of pressure as opposed to a continuous pressure level maintained. Also keep in mind the MAF, MAP and ECU are all setup for the closed system so there are other factors involved that are "confused" also.

So then mine should be placed in the closed position? Stock BOV put back on maybe? It certainly isn't worth hurting my car for it.

you guys are all gay... come hear it, then judge....until then :stfu:

Your HKS is set up as full recirc Shane, its fine...

its not near as loud as a full VTA setup. Honestly I think it is overall quieter than my hks was, unless you are mid boost, then you hear a little recirc and vta at the same time....other than that, it sounds exactly like the hks at low boost, and gives off a psss at high boost....no fast and the furious sounds.. no backfiring..

Andrew AND Lee will both be creamin all over Josh's car once he has it installed...Im pretty sure about that :koolaidman:
