I'm sure this doesn't need to be said, but I feel I should anyway.

I have been on my fair share of group drives, I have seen many idiots flexing their HP and cause accidents, some serious, some not. Either way, we don't want to hurt our cars and more importantly each other and our loved ones. Let's please be concious of each other's speeds and distances between each other. The last thing we want is a hurt car, or worse, person. I know everyone here seems very responsible, but I feel this needs to be said regardless.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about pushing my own limits (Wife grabbing leg and calling me an a-hole) but that's me in my car without involving others. I will certainly be the guy slowing down for sharp turns and then flooring it through the apex with a safe distance from the rest of you. I suggest we all keep each others saftey (I know my wife will keep ours) in mind at all times.

We can still have tons of fun playing and utilizing Mazda's Zoom zoom, but let's be smart about it.

Wow, I actually surprised myself with this post. I am usualy the guy laughing at others posting this exact thread, but like I said, I've seen bad things happen.

Ok, wife's arm twisting post over ;-)

I'm phsyched about this drive! Colorado, mountian roads, nice cars, people ( I hope) ;-)

^I agree that we keep it fun and not a "lets see if i can lose the guy behind me" type of drive. And i like the slowing for sharp ones and speeding like mad out of them... my fwd thanks you

funny how everyone has to ask there wife and talk them into a five hour drive for lunch but my wife doesn't even tell me about the meet...I guess I would have found out Sat morning LOL
