9:00-9:30. We have plenty of time to wait for the stragglers that are late or driving slow Jetta's ;-/

My cell phone: 215-435-9493. Yea I know, it's my Blackberry and work won't let me change my cell number until I run out of business cards and have to order new ones.

Just in case anyone needs to call, or if we get split up tomorrow and it's a person minus a walkie...

LOL- Is it the 2.0t Jetta, or the 5 cylinder 2.5? My wife has the Wolfsburg (sp) edition with the oh so sadly slow 2.5.

It's a great car, but it's hard to appreciate German engineering when kids on big wheels are passing you.

there is no way my husband would buy a 2.slow.... its the GLI all that's done to it is CAI and BOV. Was going to chip it, but now he is saving up for something faster.. most likely STi

I'm game anytime. I can't get enough of the Rocky Mountains and the roads here. Any destination works for me. So yes, count me in. Start a thread for a date that works, so when you get the car it's already planned ;-) I'd like to take whatever that road is that goes through Manitou Springs and heads West. I was on it once as a kid when I used to come visit my Aunt & Uncle here.

I can't wait to drive up Pikes Peak either! I took the cog rail way once, and I got to drive to the top in a 100 ton crane with my uncle. It took 3 days to drive the crane to the top. Each day a support truck would pick us up and bring as back to the crane to continue the next day. His company (he himself did this) erected the radio towers up there. They also do most of the new lift towers at the ski areas, most of the building in the Springs & Denver also. For a while I wanted to be a crane operator, but never took that route in life ;-(

Back in 2003 when I first bought my Protege5 I took a drive all the way to the top of Pikes Peak, cool and kinda hairy at times especially with other traffic.

;-) Whatch Michele Mouton beat the heck out of the Peak and her Audi S1. To me she is still one of the best drivers/rally drivers ever to press a gas pedal. She was so GD good. I don't think that's the entire link, but search youtube for Audi S1 Pikes Peak. Or Michele Mouton. Insane driver she was....

Walter Rohrl was also a bad @ss Audi S1 driver, but no Michele IMHO.
