I am going to order mine today. Can you tell me if this comes with a base tune or will it need to be tuned and if so who are you having tune it? Thanks
[font=Arial Black][size=100]Roadrnr06 was my leased 2006 Speed 6 which was purchased on 06-06-06. I have many fond memories of that car, and will be keeping my original profile as a memory of the great car that I once had.

My new user name is Roadrnr09 and showcases my new 09 Subaru WRX which I am very happy to have purchased as a replacement vehicle : )

it comes with 2 base maps, a 15psi zeroed map, and a 17psi zeroed map... but they are not practical for our elevation, i guess. The boost clip needs to be adjusted on the stock maps before driving without fuel cut can happen..thats what I have been told anyways, by CP-E..and Rich..

Dyno Tuning is pretty limited in the area. I know of MAC, Revolutions, and Harvey, another tuner that used to work at a Subaru shop....there are more, Im sure, but thats all Ive heard of

How long did it take you Rich? Did it require a ton of soldering?

PnP=plug and play...no soldering

All of 10 minutes Brendon :) That is, once you get the driver side kick panel off.....fuggin thing is a PITA! Getting under there can be a little back breaking too.

Roadrnr06, the base 15psi map gave me a 42-50 whp gain without tuning, depending on the dyno. I have dyno graphs linked in my sig if you're interested.

Maybe it was Josh I was confusing with a girl when I was there. Ya know, flip flops and all ;-)

DEFINITELY pulls alot harder now.... :61424796: feels much more solid, BUT boost is maxed out at 10psi, in every gear, even on the 17psi map, no fuel cut on either map.. I will have to talk to CP-E tomorrow, see what little tinkering they can do for it over the phone...as for initial impressions so far, DAMN GOOD... :25b530fa:

It definitely holds boost all the way to redline, just nothing over 10psi... Its spooling up a bit slower too, but once its spooled, it feels so much stronger.

I wonder how high i can go with the clip psi without getting fuel cut? Something to try tomorrow I guess
