I really intended to attend but family matters occured at the last moment. Wanted to meet everyone...appears the club has become somewhat of a family in of itself. Now I was hearing of a meeting at Washington Park....that sounds fun. Used to play lots of fisbee there as a younger man but, haven't been there in years. Enjoyed hearing that everyone had a great time...I'm jonesing...is that really a word?

Apologies on the underdone bratwursts/sausages.. made the mistake of poking them with a fork during cooking instead of before.. turned the whole batch into a juicy fireball.. crispy on the outside, pink in the middle...

Chris, sorry you had to inherit another dozen or so drumsticks at the end there...

That aside, great turnout!

I still think the club shirts with spots reserved for write in names and handles would be pretty funny, if not cool. And Angie's idea of avatar pics would be cool too..

Damn guys. WIsh I could have made it -- sounds like a great time. But it turned out to be the right thing. In addition to my strep-wife, my son has pink eye AND some other last-minute stuff came up that I wouldn't have wanted Jen having to face alone. NEver made it to the book signing either, though I am going to Stephen Coonts' house in mid-June for another one...

apostrophes are used to represent missing letters.
so you would put it between the y and a, not between the a and l.
