My TII Progress

Postby iani1.1 » Mon May 25, 2009 9:14

Ok, I know I have been saying my car will get done soon but i had alot of ideas which has slowed my progress but it will get done!!

Originally i wanted to paint the engine bay Gunmetal, then i thought it was a little too tacky soo i went with the RustProof Black.

Once the engine bay is finished I will be dropping in the TII. Since it is an Jspec S5 TII I there are alot of modifications i have to do with the wiring harness since the wiring harness runs to the left rather than the right. Also my emissions system must be removed. Other than that im pretty set.

So enough talking Ill just let the pics do the talking...

Glad to hear your build is still progressing forward.
It best to get it done right rather than speeding thru it and having regrets later.
Thanks for posting pics. Here's to getting your Ride back on the road soon. There is still allot of summer left for you to get back behind the wheel. Looking forward to checking it out soon.

Looks good man! Hopefully we'll BOTH be able to drive this summer yet haha. Although I'm not sure if I agree with the comment of there being a lot of summer left haha.

gotta redo the wiring harness, install the megasquirt, and get everything connected and lubed. theres not much left, its just depends on how much free time i have.

alright due to minor setbacks, the engine isnt still in yet. my flywheel and clutch still isnt here. i did finish rewiring the harness swapping s4 to s5 connectors and removing my emissions, swapping s5 to s4 alternator wires, got the engine bay all tidied up, ordered a bunch a crap like block off plates, intercooler piping, etc.

i decided not to hook up the megasquirt til i get a bigger turbo or bigger injectors. but i do need a n374 boost pressure sensor if anyone has one or knows anyone that has it. pm me.

alright enough of that here are some pics i took today. enjoy :D

can't wait to see it done. Are you just using the top mount temporarily?
