Shaved side moldings
First thing's first- I can't believe I used to use so many lol's, etc. -- I sound like Chris or something.
Secondly, I still have some transparent lines going down the side/s. I've polished the car once since then, but it didn't get rid of them. I think they'll go away with a more aggressive go at it- but I've been too apprehensive to try that.
In hindsight, I should of let the goo-gone rest on the paint awhile longer. Once I noticed the trim pulling away, I just yanked it all off....should of been more patient.

So you bought a polisher and only used it once?
Guess thats better than me since I have never used a polisher.
I used one of those rubber wheels to remove pinstriping and factory stickers from my Avalanche and my Wife's old 4 runner.
That left lines I could see too. I'm going to leave mine on until its time to go in for new paint...which may be never.
