We were right, it was.

You were right. After the first 12,000 miles your on your own!

The service department was very nice, I was in and out quick both times. When she called to tell me scenario she couldn't get it fixed today. Called again and said she could. So over all a thumbs up so far.

They wanted $90 just to turn the rotors so I opted out and am going to call around. Anyone know the normal rate for that?

90 sounds right if you leave the rotors on the car and have them do it. If you can take the rotors off yourself and bring it to a machine shop, it will run around 30-40 bucks.

I can manage that. Its not to hard to jack a car up, pop the tires off, and take the breaks off.

I've always taken my my rotors to Checkers or Auto Zone and had them turned for like $12 or $13 each. My next set I'll do at the dealership.

Places like Brakes Plus are about $60 on the car.

O...... M.......... G!

fly boy wrote:anyone use them before?

My 3 has a shudder when braking from higher speeds and i am going to take it in for warrenty work. The only time i went to the dealer up here, they basically lost my sale because of the manager. Is the service department quality?

Thanks

edit 1: Overall my time with the stealership was fine. Good communication, and quick responce to my problem.

Edit 2: Wow, i saw that my sticker for oil/tire rotation had been changed. I decide to check my recipt again to see if they went above and beyond and just did it.... Nothing. Ok, so i give them a call to see if they just forgot..... Nope. Those bastids didn't do a thing extra except change out my sticker and screw me up. Luckily i knew the milage that was on the sticker before hand. I am just upset from it.

Your mocking me, aren't you?

I know its miniscule, but it just annoys me. Are they trying to make me ruin the car?

Nope. I was not mocking you. I can't believe they'd update the sticker, and not do the change.

thats sounds kinda shady to me...i'd be kinda demanding a free oil change and say you didn't know/remember what mileage to go in at from the previous, correct, oil change.
