Way back in the days of the mid 90s, I had a Neon that I put a pretty badass system in. Got the Optima red top battery. That was maybe around 95-96. Car got totaled around 01-02, so before they came to take it to the crusher, I took the battery out. It pretty much just hung around the garage unused. Somewhere around 03-04, I had an Expedition that had the battery go bad. Figured I'd put the Optima in there and see if it would charge up and hold a charge. Put it in, and better than that, it fired the 5.4L V8 right up. I was freaking amazed. True story.

I have a similar story. Got a new Red Top Optima in July of 2008. I ended up switching out to a Stinger Battery in September 2008 when I re-did my system because my Audio Sponsor did not support Optima products. So its still in my garage collecting dust.
Not sure what condition its in, but Rush if you want it its yours.
Only prob is I live in Glenwood Springs.
