Yeah, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end... especially since I haven't heard of any other turbo'd RX-8's in the state, has anyone else?!?

You guys are doing a tough job, but it really has seemed to pull the local Mazda community together, and increase everyone's overall knowledge & experience levels, so I say kudos to you guys! Ghost is going to have one of the fastest 8's in the state, that's something to smile about :)

Now the only question in my mind is... how would it stack up against an STI? LOL. I need to get off my ass, and start modding, before summer starts & meets spring up every week :D

I can not beleve the lack of room under the hood in the 8. It is about 2/3 what the 7's have.

Well I'm not expecting to beat any STIs soon but my end of year goal was to smoke Evo Xs but maybe it should be to smoke you. ;)

And I think it's more worth it because it's an exhuast side set up so I can run a bigger turbo with less problems... I HOPE!

LOL! Sounds like a hell of a goal!! I look forward to the friendly competition... although I must warn you, the STI won't be stock for too much longer... maybe a couple more months while I pay off the rest of my wedding/engagement ring, after that, expect my STI to make no less than another 30whp.... if you can beat that, I would be pretty damn impressed, especially if you could do it from a stop lol.

I agree, it sounds like it's more than worth it, a stock STI might be fast, but a turbo'd RX-8 has a LOT more originality. My only major complaint about the RX-8 was it's lack of balls, it's nice to see someone rectifying that problem :)

I could possibly do it but that means I never do anything else including drive so I can put all my money to my car.

And I'm not only rectifying the problem I'm also stealing your defi gauges and control unit ;)
