Basically. Give me an idea of specific tire and size you want and I'll check and see what I can get them for.

Sounds good Chris. I've always liked these skins, and they're not super spendy:
General Exclaim UHP
235/40-18

For privacy sake, you don't need to tell me any of your specifics on pricing, discounts, etc. But if you can mount 4 of those on my RX-8 wheels, for a straight-across trade of my MS6 wheels, then just PM me and we'll work out when I can come in.

Those are good tires. Running them now on the MS6 (it came with them when I bought it 2 mos ago) with 4/32" left and they plow through snow & slush very well. They do stick to the road when cold very well too. I would suspect that new ones will get you around quite well.

Yeah, they are fantastic tires; I used them exclusively on my A4. And for being classified as Ultra High Performance Summer tires, they really do handle iffy road conditions like a champ.

For the record, I was dead serious about my $200 offer.

I don't doubt that you were. It was a bit short for my liking so I counter offered to save myself some time and energy. Then things started going downhill.

This isn't my first rodeo.

Thanks!

The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A in 215/45-18. A good amount of tread left. And it looks like they are going to have to go with the wheels as well.

Up until yesteday, I didn't realize that RX-8 wheels are an inch wider than MS6 wheels, so swapping over those 215's onto them doesn't sound quite as splendid anymore.

So yeah.... I guess $600 OBO for the wheel and tire combo.

Thanks for the update. I am looking for good all seasons or winters to run now on my stock wheels.

With the RX-8 rims being 8"- that's why i recommend the 235's for them. My 225's are stretched on mine.

If you end up separating the tires, I may still be interested in them for a summer set.

TTT.

The new 235's are now in transit from Tirerack, so the stock wheels and tires will be coming off any day now. Don't let somebody on Craigslist ace you out of a great deal.

4 wheels with tires for $600 = Crazy Delicious Image

I don't have a pressure monitoring system on the car. If there are sensors installed that I am not aware of, you are welcome to them.

I knew a lot of people liked RX-8 wheels for their other Mazda rides, but I never considered an 8 owner putting on the MS6'ers.

This car actually looks pretty damn slick with these.

My new tires just got shipped to Big-O, so the RX-8 wheels are going on after work today.

That means the stockers (with tires) are coming off, and they gotta go!

Bump for a lower price of $500!

In honor of the unseasonably warm weather, and President Obama's recent Inauguration, I'm doing a today-only special of $450 for the set, for any CMZC member.
