I think a lot of people don't realize that chapter 11 doesn't actually mean they'll stop making cars. Seriously, the only way to come out of this and have any chance of growing as a company in the future is to start over.
Well put ronin- We're throwing money at an improperly run company in hopes that 'said monies' will help it. The point isn't the cash flow per se (for the most part), it's the fact that their product (with exception to their recent push for actual appeal for once), their infrastructure (unionization, policies, etc.) have completely and utterly destroyed the GM that used to be.
This is no different than the nationalization of banks, etc. Big brother government does not, and will not work. [/cough, cough] BO's (actually Pelosi's) NON-stimulus "stimulus"/porkulus comes to mind...bye-bye economy, hello socialism?:huh:
