wow...
I am soo happy, that street racing in austria is not so popular...
but here in austria the most tuners have about 100-150bhp... xD
The insurance in austria is so high... A 140bhp car costs 125,- a month...

Can you post the link to the other forum? I think all of us are very interested into how this plays out.

i just left the hospital. they have him stabilized. he has a broken elbow on his right arm and a broken wrist on his left. also has a cracked/fractured knee cap on his right leg. he has tubes to his lungs to pump out blood and fluids and pump air in. they say he will be ok its just gunna take some time. He is still on life support
they say he was racing a silver sti with lime green engine accents and no wing with yellow stickers covering the wing holes and black rays wheels. cops said they think the sti hit the srt causing him to go out of control hit the median and rolled over a bunch of times. sti left the scene in a hurry. till now nobody has been able to get in contact with the guy in the sti.

I live there now and I feel like a lot of it has been stopped. On Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights, cops patrol the shit out of College all night. I had friends that used to race there and it seems like it isn't happening as often. Hopefully that is the case.

Wow. Hope he does make it through. I figured in order to hit the median either his tire blew, or he clipped someone or someone clipped him. I guess the STI didn't wan't to lose.

This happens more than it is reported in the Denver area. Working at a certain hospital we see a lot of it. It is so stupid and such a selfish decision to make. Living with someone who was "proud" to be a street racer as a teen, I call him out constantly on how selfish he was to do that. Not only are you risking others lives, but look at what you might posssibly put your family through. The roads are dangerous enough, we do not need idiots adding to it.
I feel for this guy and I pray that he can fully recover. Hopefully he will speak out to others against why it is dumb to put yourself in this position.
Yea Bandimere can be a pain in the ass to run at and some might think it is expensive, but I can promise the $40-$50 it might cost to run for a night is cheaper than the hospital bills and legal fees this gentleman is facing now.

^^^I second that. Doing charts for 4 major hospitals, you'd be shocked how common it is as well as motorcycle accidents.
Recent update is they did surgery on his neck because it was broken and he is still heavily medicated. He's full of pins and rods basically holding him together
brings back painful memories.
