Thanks. Looking forward to getting the rest of the panels on. I should've prepped and took off the old fender and doors today. Oh well.

Looks good. As far as pinstripe: unless you plan on having the whole car repainted I'd add pinstripe. If you take the pinstripe off I bet it leaves a slightly alerted shade of red. However, If you want to remove, I do have a 3m rubber wheel to remove them with that you can use.

Oh, you should plan to add a hitch unless you plan to trailer the car to track days. That would allow you to run a chase race tire rack and carry track wheels/tires.

Good point and something I haven't considered. That's what I get for being a track rookie.

Swapped on the passenger side fender/door. Looks better not all dented and spray paint touch upped. The front lip is just clamped on with wood clamps at the moment, just checking out how it looked. Next up, driver's side door and I need to locate a fender. I've also purchased the Flyin Miata frame rails in a group buy that's open for another couple of weeks, so i won't be getting those on for a bit. I need to order carpet and a rollbar so I can get the interior back together.

I only have one criticism and if you know me thats a big deal. You got loose the front license plate. Kills the look and is only an issue if you park downtown or in washpark. I know you work down town but am sure you have some fancy government parking spot.

It's going once I get the bumper resprayed. I'll get the holes filled as well. I dont drive or park downtown so i'm not worried about a front plate ticket.

probably get flamed for this, but have you considered a spray in liner for the floor as opposed to carpet? It might be a little heavier, but cleans up real nice.

I've debated between the two. I'm still not 100% dedicated to carpet. At one point I was sold on no carpet, but still having upholstered doors and the center console on the transmission tunnel might look a bit odd with just a lined floor.

just go with carpet, it isn't a jeep. You should have gotten it off that parts car.

Carpet from 94+ doesn't work due to the placement of the ECU. In the 90-93, it's in the passenger side footwell. In the 94+, it's behind the passenger seat. Stockinteriors.com gets some good reviews to my carpet will come from there. And while it's not a Jeep, it may become a dedicated track car...although that's down the road a bit.

aaa, ECU is located in the same place as the '84-'85 and FC.
