Make of tires won't effect your numbers, however size can. IE going up in wheel/tire sizing from OEM or previous dyno pull.
Count me in for the 8th....
Question? I've got "Winter performance" tires on (no studs) is that going to change my numbers?[/b]

Honestly I don't recall which way it will go. I just remember reading that wheel/tire size can effect results. I would assume it could go both ways like your speedo.
regarding tire size, larger diameter will show lower numbers? or opposite? whta about same overall diameter size, just larger rims?[/b]

Larger diameter will yeild a lower reported number. Not such what a larger wheel but same overall diameter will do. I would tend to think it would also lower the numbers because of the usual higher rotational inertia of a larger wheel/tire combo (but it's probably possible to lower your rotational inertia when going to a larger wheel/tire combo depending on which wheels/tires you choose).
And I've been on the fence lately about whether I should dyno or not. I've added a few things since my last dyno in September (Dynojet) and would like to see their effect. Using this dyno, they will probably appear as a decrease in power- or break even if I'm lucky. I'll make my final decision later this week if I'll dyno or not. If I don't dyno, I'll probably still go just to hang out and give Josh shit.

Hey Guys,
I talked with my buddy Steve aka Scuba Steve, aka The Carmedic about coming down to this dyno day to offer his services as well. He does paintless dent repair and does and awesome job. So you can get your door dings and such fixed while you wait for your turn on the dyno. His rates are very reasonable when you compare them to getting the damages repaired at a conventional body shop. Remember that this is for small dings and chops- not accident damage. If the paint is cracked or chipped it probably can't be fixed by this method.

It really depends on the dents but he will do on the spot estimates.
As far as snow tires I have seen up to a 30hp difference between snow tires and regular street tires of the same size on the same car. This is because snow tires are very soft and some of the power gets sucked up by the soft compound of the tires compressing. I recommend regular street tires for my dyno. Slicks and drag radials are not required. I've tested 1200hp on stock 05 mustang gt wheels and tires.
