They match the rears perfectly! I like em.

Did you ever fix your "FC Idle Speed" setting like how I mentioned in my text the other night?

I'm gonna try to get it outside and take some whole car pics tonight, after I take Kingston for a walk here in a bit.

I'm also planning on wetsanding and buffing the rest of the car again, in the hopes of getting it to look like the new fenders haha.

Beautiful dog you got there!

Thanks! I wish he was mine, but he belongs to a friend of mine. I've been watching him on and off for about the past 5 months, but when I deploy in about a month might be the last time I'll see him ;(.

Yeah maybe tonight. Or if you're an Arrested Development fan, Maebe tonight. LOL

Yeah I'm stoked to have fenders that match the car now haha. Funny thing is I'd just washed it last week. It's so freakin dusty here.

Yeah I think they're pretty close. Not perfect, but close enough for me. I'm going to redo at least one of the rear fenders at some point anyway.

I'm gonna try to fix the idle thing tonight. I need more info from you though on how to fix it haha. It's still hard to start sometimes after it dies anyway, like it's flooding or something.

Thanks Frank!

The pics were taken on my driveway, on a slant, so the driver's rear tire/fender gap is exaggerated, and the driver's fender isn't perfect where it meets the front bumper, you might be able to see it. That's because these fenders used to belong to Simon, and it got messed up at some point on his car. And now I'll have to wetsand the crappy paint on the rest of the car to match the good paint on these fenders haha. Also, I think I'll try at least a 5mm spacer on the front and see how it looks, maybe even put on the 8mm spacers I used to have on the rear.

Nice man, 5mm spacer up front should be perfect fitment, I would just worry about rubbing a little but you've have larger fronts anyways haha

Yeah I talked to Steve yesterday, he said it would be another few days until he was finished fixing it. So hopefully I'll have it on again before I leave.

Thanks! Once I can get professional looking pics taken again, I'll make a new sig haha. Or maybe I'll just use some of the effects on photobucket haha.

Well I was thinking about that. I'll just try it out and see how it works.

So, any words of advice on fixing my idling issue? lol

I'll call you and walk you thru the steps. It's also mostly likely going to require adjusting the throttle body mechanically.

Thanks David! It seems like I take two steps back for every step I take forward though haha.

Dave, it seems as though the timing adjustments have helped. It still died a couple times but it was MUCH easier to start afterwards. I'll drive it tomorrow night possibly and see if it still dies when returning to idle from throttle. I also messed with the idle settings a bit more (not fuel cut, but regular idle) and I think I have it idling pretty well now. Possibly haha, we'll see. Thanks!

Hey Eric, do me a favor and let me know when you've got it to a point where I can steal your car and drive it back up to my house so I can steal it and at least have it run long enough to make the 45 minute mile journey without it dying on me. K? Thanks! :p I'll even be nice enough to leave you my Legacy so you don't have to drive around in a silly civic! Then again, my Legacy is probably just as gutless as a civic.
