DWDUC took a look at the car. Said the connection looked good. I said the only things it can be is a bad sensor (brand new), bad ecu, or bad wiring causing an intermittent connection. Actually the testing procedure says that. Since the wiring was so tight, he surmised something in the plug. He bent a pin that didn't look quite right and plugged it back in. We cleared the code after driving for a bit monitoring Air Intake Temps on his phone using torque and a PLX kiwi (cool set up). Temps looked reasonable. Code didn't come back on when we drove over to Junkies and hung out with Zico and Jesse for a bit. DW had a date, so I ran him home and went back to roll the rear fenders. Rolling the fenders went pretty well. Ended up with a slight pull toward the rear of the fender well, but everything is smooth and 99% of people will never even notice. I still get a tire rub, which doesn't surprise me, so now I need to trim the bumper and relocate the bumper/fender tab. I didn't do it all at once because I want to do the minimum to get it to clear.

Maybe next weekend.

Oh shit, it pulled out? I didn't notice that. Sorry man.
You're still rubbing? It's just that tab?

No problem. I didn't notice it when we were doing it eithet. Zico pointed it out. Might need to play with them some more. But they are good for now.
They rub on that tab. Not surprised really. A smarter person probably would have started with tab relocation now that I think of it.
Re: The S2000
Car has started to throw some codes.

Re: The S2000
Sorry man, wish I could help. You know, if you bought an FD, I COULD help you. LOL
Better get that stuff fixed before we go on some fun drives this fall.

Re: The S2000
I'm toying with the idea of using the izze racing delete for the system, but unsure about whether it would fix the codes.

Looks like I would still need to address p1457, which is the canister.

Re: The S2000
the most common code on cars is the EVAP system which is usually caused by a bad fuel cap. Not sure if that is tied into the same code that yours is throwing or that it is the actual charcoal canister.

Re: The S2000
Well, starting the process of getting it safer for the track. Looking at a hard dog roll bar, Sparco seat, profi II harness and. Steering wheel system to make entry/exit easier.
Anyone looking to part with a good quality racing wheel in good condition? Prefer all black or gunmetal, with the exception of the centering line.

Think about a quick release too. Makes ingress/egress easier. I need to get one too.
Re: The S2000
Saul, have an NRG short hub and QR on order. DW mentioned it would enable us to swap wheels. Seemed like a good route to try different things.
Re: The S2000
Ordered a Hard Dog Fabrication rollbar with double diaganols, welded harness bar and seatbelt guides.
In discussions with a rm solo guy about a 6 point harness.
Ordered a NRG short hub and NRG Quick Release (ver. 3.0). Leaned on speedjunkie really hard until he agreed to sell me a steering wheel. So a Momo wheel.
Still trying to figure out seats. Leaning more toward the Momo Supercup (regular size). I am waiting to hear about seeing a Sparco Pro2000 in an s2000 though. That will help guide my decision.

Re: The S2000
Lol it didn't take any leaning, I had planned on selling it the first time I messaged you lol.
Unless you're being facetious, in which case I'm still not selling it. Lol
