Good stuff man! Putting used parts is a joke. They won't last as long and they just expect everything to work? I am praying to god I don't get hit by anyone with Liberty Mutual.

Got the car back yesterday. Overall, it looks good. The hood looks much better than it did, as the Mazda of Lakewood respray on it for fixing paint chips looked like it was done with a rattle can. It nice and shiny now.

Good job by the body shop at good customer service to, after their initial bumbling. I was updated twice a day on the status of the work while they had the car. Good work, and good communication. The most humorous part of the experience was dealing with insurance and their sneaky backhanded estimate with used parts. The final paperwork given to me yesterday, well, the repair ended up costing exactly the initial estimate I was given, and not the second one the Liberty Mutual had them do.

And as for the witness to the accident, as it turns out, he's seen how the neighbor backs down the alley, but didn't see the actual accident. So, I'm out my deductible at this point as it's my word against his. Interestingly enough, he doesn't back down the alley anymore, in either direction. Jackass.
