I asked on Facebook if anyone knew of a local place here in the Springs and a friend mentioned A&C Plastics. I went there after work today and I ended up getting a scrap piece of polycarbonate for FREE. The workers were turning me away and telling me they'd have to look for the right size piece and then contact the corporate office in Houston tomorrow, then the lady in charge came out and talked to them and they looked in their scrap pile. I was in uniform of course lol, which is why she helped me I think. One of them mentioned wanting tickets to a Falcons game haha, I think I might go get them all tickets and then get her something she actually wants since she didn't seem interested in football tickets haha.

David, I'm running the FJO version 2 kit. It has a pump like many of the other kits, I can't remember the name of it though. The tank is 1/3 gallon (the stock rear washer fluid tank), and my old tank is like 1.5 gallons haha. It would drain REALLY slow though, like a full tank in about 4 months or so. So I didn't think anything of moving to a much smaller tank. I might have made a mistake though haha. I might have to get a new tank and mount it in the spare tire well also.

Wal-Mart is the devil sometimes lol. Usually I'm pretty good about getting just what I need. It hasn't always been that way though.

Never thought of HEET, that's a good idea. I'm trying to use the same mix of -20* windshield washer fluid though. I wonder how far off HEET is from that mixture.

I choose HEET, because it's 99% methanol. So it's a good amount more meth than -20 fluid. Maybe just add a bottle to each tank and log it to see if it helps. And 1/3?!? really?!? You mush have injection starting right near your peak boost. I tried mine at about 6-7psi, and ran though my tank too fast, so I bumped it up to 10-11psi, and am using smaller nozzles.

So this is what the spare tire well would look like without a cover...
Image

And this is what it looks like now...
Image

And with the hatch carpet it will look like this except you won't see anything underneath...
Image

I cut the hole in the middle that way I wouldn't have to take the whole thing out to trip the breaker and disconnect battery power...
Image

I decided against the hinge idea, for now anyway.

Now I'm wishing I'd moved it more to the right so I could mount it to this stud also and hold down all four corners...

I was trying to figure out what to do with the battery tender power cable, then I realized I could just do it like Dave did his. I copied everything else, why not this? lol

I'm also looking for one of these plastic mounting brackets for the passenger kick panel that mounts over the ECU, if anyone has a spare. I broke mine Sunday.

I don't really want more methanol though. First of all, my pump is only good up to 50/50 water/meth. Second, I'm using this as a safety net, not trying to gain more power. So I'm good with washer fluid. If I decide to switch though, I'll get HEET.

No actually I have it injecting right around 5psi. I think I'm going to take that percentage down some though and use 100% more around 10-24psi or maybe even 15-24psi I think I already have it injecting 100% for most of the boost portion of the map though. I have to look at it again. Whatever it is, I need to make it so the water lasts longer lol.

I knew you were going to say that, and I even heard you saying it last night when I was making this one lol.

I changed my water injection map and it seems to be lasting a bit longer now, but I may have to take it down even more. I'm going to test it tomorrow and see how long a tank lasts me. It's almost like it's leaking somewhere or something.

I think I also have coolant seeping from my radiator somewhere. I lose coolant down to the level sensor on the front, then it seems I lose a tiny bit every week or so. But I see drops at the bottom from of the radiator. And something is squeaking almost every time I start the car now, at least for the first 10 seconds or so. I can't figure out if it's my belts or the fans or what. Also, I heard a weird noise coming from under the hood when I started the car a couple times today. I think it has something to do with the water injection but I'm not sure.

Took a bunch of videos today, along with datalogging my AFRs almost all day. I'm going to get with Dave tomorrow so he can show me how to use it to adjust my fuel map. Also, one of the guys on the cruise today gave me a couple bottles of octane booster and once he discovered I was logging he asked me if I could tell a difference in the logs between using the booster and not. I told him I'd send him the info once I used it. I'm not sure if he just sells the stuff or if he owns the company.

I'm trying to upload a video of a 1st-4th gear pull onto the highway but youtube and photobucket aren't letting it happen. WTF!!!!

I'm thinking I may have made a mistake going with this battery combo. I just drove the car yesterday morning and the battery is dead right now.

Or maybe I have a draw on the battery or something, not sure.

That doesn't sound right. I've let my battery sit for over 76 hours off the charger and it only lost a couple tenths of a volt. And I've never had it go completely dead. Is it reading less than 5 volts? You may have just gotten a bad battery from Braille. Their warranty is really good though, just contact them and they will ship you out a new one ASAP.

Additionally, you may have a draw on the system like you mentioned, or your alernator is charging the battery correctly. Worth putting a multimeter on the alt while running to see if it's putting out consistent voltage.

For the battery drain, turns out I left my wideband on. And I keep forgetting and leaving it on haha. I left it on this afternoon again but it still had enough juice to start. It was down to 5v the other day though. And I worry now because the battery tender is still red when I get up in the morning, and it used to be blinking or solid green (can't remember). So I'm wondering if I screwed up the battery already. Either way, I've decided to cut a couple extra holes in the cover and install a bar onto each post of the battery that will come up just shy of the cover, that way I can jump the car without having to remove the cover. And I'll wrap the bars with F4 tape or something so they won't be grounded out by something.

I haven't really worked to get that video uploaded anymore. My Mom came out to visit last Wednesday and I haven't tried since then. She's leaving this Friday so I'll try again after that lol.

And thanks to Eduardo I just sent in payment for the Tweakit 2-in-1 diff cradle/brace lol.
