Heres the company's web-site

Im itching about this $300 piece of electrode, EVERYBODY loves the feel of it, most are saying the best mod for the speed6... Obviously there are skeptics about the product, it merely sends a 30% higher throttle position to the ecu over stock.
Some people with the standback are using the auto version for the speed 6. Since I ordered the standback already, Im wondering if I should do this or not... I guess the manual version made the car too jerky and jumpy. Doesnt the standback ramp the throttle positioning higher also?

I guess I am skeptical about how this would affect the car for the long run, or if it affects other parameters of the car because the throttle plate is in a different position.
I don't know a lot about the throttle plate, so please fill me in on what else this could affect with our cars if the ECU thinks we are giving it 30% more throttle than we actually are.

Sounds like a scam to me. It amplifies the signal to the throttle plate by about 30%, making the throttle plate more sensitive to driver inputs resulting in more "seat of the pants power". The same can be achieved for free by pushing the throttle pedal down further.

thats what all the original skeptics said too, but once they installed it and tried it, its not near the same as pushing your foot on the gas 30% faster....lol
If your foot is on the throttle at the 5% mark, and you push it as fast as you can to the 50% mark, its not the same because in reality your foot is not at 5%, its at 35%, and the same up top, its at 80%, not 50%... so there is more response, faster...no matter how "fast" you put your foot on the pedal, it will never catch up to what the ecu thinks it is at with this installed
Ive read a big ass write up on the "scam" of this product, but you read ACTUAL reviews of people who have installed it, and EVERY one of them says its the best mod on the speed6

Mmmm.... so what's it like to drive with this thing in bumper-to-bumper, stop-and-go traffic? My car has the old school "throttle by cable" method. No electronic trickery involved. My VUE is throttle by wire though.
