Wrecked My Baby

Postby Obie2kenobe » Sun Oct 04, 2009 9:14

So last night I had some lady pull in front of me and I ran into her. It was all her fault and she had a suspended Drivers License even so she shouldn't been on the road and they impounded her car right away. My car runs fine and will drive straight but I can't really turn as the front bumper supports will rub on the tire when I turn. She is also smoking a lot...way more than I have ever seen her smoke. So I am going to have to take it to a few shops and try to figure out this whole insurance fix thingy. I have never had this happen, as I am from SD and when I would wreck my cars I always had a family member fix it. So go ahead and smother me with advice and suggestions as to where I should take it and whatnot. I will post my crappy cell phone pics as soon as I get them uploaded.

Damn, sorry to hear about your wreck, especially since your Ride was so clean and straight. Suspended license!! Hopefully she still had insurance to cover your repairs.

Sorry can't help you with any suggestions on body repair shops around the Denver area. Hopefully this nightmare will be over soon and you'll be back behind the wheel of your Ride soon.

I hope she also has insurance, and if she does, find a good lawyer because you can get some money out of it even if you were not hurt:) Good Luck!

Dammit. Sorry to hear this Obie. Well, I guess my suggestion would be...kill her...immediately.

I can suggest a shop that you SHOULDN'T take it to, haha.

Good luck buddy. This REALLY pisses me off. Your car was so clean and in GREAT shape, not something you see everyday, and in seconds this dumbass messes that up, and she wasn't even supposed to be on the road anyway. Instant death for her is still my suggestion.

That sucks man! Sad to see such a clean car messed up just like that. Let me know if you need any help on anything. As far as body repairs go, I'm not sure, but if you need a rotary mechanic, the guy who helped fix my car is great and won't charge nearly as much as a shop would. PM me if you're interested.

Hot or not, driving with a suspended license and causing a wreck sucks. I'd be livid.

So far the damage is between 6 and 10 thousand, before we actually get into it, or look into the smoking problem. They are probably going to want to total the car out. I am going to have to start gathering info on reasons why the car is worth more than they think it is; either way this will prove to benefit me. If anyone has any ideas or websites that will help me with upping the value beyond what the standard insurance place thinks my car is worth, the help would be appreciated.
