So after a 1000-mile round trip, a total of about 4K miles since changing, this is what the front brakes look like:

Lots of meat left, and I've done some hard braking too. So I figure I can make it to January or February before I need to do rotors and pads again.
The rears, which are still the stockers, look like this:

Also plenty of meat left. Again I figure I can make it until after the holidays. At that point, new rotors front and rear, Hawk HPS pads, and technafit SS lines.
ANd it's good that I can wait on the brakes, because this is my BEST tire:

That's the passenger side front tire. The rears are pretty much drag slicks at this point. So in October, when the snow starts, I'll be driving the Grand Cherokee for awhile. Probably do new tires in November.
On the down side, in a span of about 3 months, I'll drop $1100 on non-power-related stuff for the car.
Ugh.
