Local NON-MOBILE locksmith

Postby speedjunkie » Wed Dec 29, 2010 9:14

Aren't there any non-mobile locksmiths around C Springs? I've been calling all over and everyone seems to be mobile. I pulled my hatch lock cylinder out of the car last night and I want to take it and my new door locks somewhere to get keyed the same. I'm not paying extra just for someone to come to my house when I don't need them to.

Disregard, my friend told me of one. He's in a building next to the Ace Hardware on Austin Bluffs and Academy. He said it would be about $60 to do a door lock and the hatch lock to make them match the other door lock. I believe he also said something about them possibly being finished today but we'll see. I'll post up my review after I get them back.

A good tech at a dealership can do this also.

Well these guys had them done at around 2pm and they charged me $60, which is a lot cheaper than another place that was going to charge me $180 and another place was going to charge me $30 just to come out to the house and I wasn't going to pay them to come to the house when I didn't need them to.

I installed the hatch lock but I haven't installed the door locks yet. The hatch lock still works with my old key too, and all locks seem to operate well so I assume they're good. I'll recommend these guys to everyone. I believe the company name was A Mobile Locksmith, ironically enough LOL.

Just an update, everything is working great! Actually, my new keys also work in my ignition, but my old key doesn't work in my doors, so I may just move to the new keys altogether haha.

A Mobile Locksmith is a good place! Highly recommended!
