5280Fest - 07/30/11

Postby Operator » Mon May 09, 2011 9:14

Hi all,

I am new on here, Colorado native and long time auto enthusiast. I am the founder of 5280Fest which aims to be the premier MODERN auto show in the Denver metro area. Registration is free and it is free to the public.

Anyways I am hoping to spark some interest for the show on here and to get ya’ll to register some of your amazing cars. We are looking for some good sponsors if anyone has suggestions, and we have a great venue.

For all the details check out our website at http://www.5280fest.com or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter.

We have a mini flyer now and a full blown one will be out within the next month.

I've already registered, and you can't beat a car show that has free registration, for those that are going to show. Also they have a BEST Mazda/Hyundai grouping, so you Mazda3, 6, Speed3, Speed6, Rx-7&8's and whomever else will have a catagory. Hope to see some of you guys there. And NoCo folks that end up going, let me know so we can go down together.

Wow!! They decided to waive the Registration Fee. Its great to see a car show focused on late model vehicles. Most of the time, I stick out amongst classics and muscel cars. Mazda and Hyundai - Its sad to be grouped with Hyundai. It would be a disgrace if Mazdas didn't sweep that class. So come-on and register.

I would register. If my car weren't so beat up. Dents on the bumper and door. A bagillion and five paint scratches or chips. But I might go to check it out!

Registering = Free Reserve Parking. lol
The last big car show there was KBPI and parking for spectators was limited.
If we get 5 or more of us we can register and park as a Club.

When I 1st looked, I think they had Mazda solo. But I guess they wanted to mix things up. We have some sharpe cars on this site, so I think Mazda has a good shot.

I'd be down but I'm not sure if my car will have it's motor in by then or not. I'm currently planning on pulling it the first week of August but if I can do it sooner I will.

But I would say I'm 95% going, especially if we can get more people to sign up!

If you want, I am willing to be nice enough to take your blue rx8 to the show, heck I'll even be nice enough to not charge you.
