I was about to get RA seals (wasn't sold on the Super Seals specifically but I wasn't sure at the time), but I heard that the RA seals eat up the housings more than normal, so I just stuck with the Atkins seals that came in the master kit. I've been happy with them, but mainly only because the engine hasn't blown yet lol. Knock on wood. Maybe I'll go with RA seals next time.

For me, I would use RA Super Seals or even OEM Mazda seals are a good option, depending on what you're building.

If cost is no object, Ianetti or NRS ceramic seals are also a good option, but I've heard mixed reviews about those, as well. Although the Ianetti ceramic seals were used in the LeMan-winning 4-rotor p-port R26B 787B Mazda race car...

true but the 787b spent most of its time in the pits getting fixxed rather than on the track. but then again its not because of the seals.

That is exactly why my plan is to use classic RA 2mm, due to the fact that super seals eat away more at the housing. I had atkins on my last build back home and never had issues, but review and cost of the RA's are too good to pass this time around.

My car blew up twice and the classic seals are still in great shape and back in the new engine.

Highly recommend them.

Getting my new vert top next week, TII hood finally painted and installed, ordered seals + rebuild kit and adding a new front lip:

This project is really coming together quickly, hopefully I can make it to one of the sonic meets in colorado spings if they are still going on.

Nice, can't wait to see it done.

THe sonic meets are still going on, we are just waiting for some nice Fridays. Looks like next week will be good.
