common knowledge...that's all I'm sharing. I respect msf more for knowledge on our cars than anyone on here...and I'm sharing that...be smart and learn from others experiences, or learn from your own

I wasn't talking about adding anything new so not sure where your nitrous comment is coming from. You have an AP. You wouldn't have to add any new parts to run a tune that would take advantage of 91 octane fuel. All I'm saying is that if you aren't getting KR with 85 octane on a 91 map, that map is either extremely conservative or is messed up, and simply by switching to a different map or playing around with ATR which you now have, you could adjust the tune to take advantage of 91 and make more power. That's all I was saying.

I can add what I know from experience...

Just because the pump has an octane rating sticker on it, does NOT mean it will meet the standards you want.

I have experienced terrible knock with premium in prior turb'd cars just by filling up at the wrong station. I have also managed to get excellent performance from regular 87 octane in the same car when permium was not available.

When you find what works for you, stick with it. ;)
