Haha so it's like two 13B-REWs bolted together? Interesting. It looks really weird though, way too long. But man it revs like crazy, unlike a normal REW. Some guy on CODRIFT (now dead) was bragging about how he did this same thing, but he was full of crap I think. I wonder how hard it really is...

haha i remember that dude on codrift. nah he was full of crap, he was on a another forum claiming he beat a 911 gt2 with a na fc.

im pretty sure its hard lol. still beats the price of a 26b though. estimated 15k on the custom 4rotor vs the 35k for a built 26b.

I saw that a while ago, pretty crazy. The main cost savings come from not requiring the custom 26B 4-rotor E-shaft, plus the crazy long tension blots, two 20B center irons, etc.

I still think it would be less than optimal, just bolting two REW's together like that, but it would work...

but the thing is he said the e shaft was welded together as opposed to the two piece 26b e shaft which makes it a whole lot easier to install the center irons lol. how the hell did they do it is what i wanna know. id give up my left nut for such information

Looks like it was done the same way the old hot roders did it back in the day. The bigest problem with doing that is both motors need to be tuned exactly the same or you could start breaking things.

You could build one of these for around $7k-$9k, keep in mind you will be buying a $5k eccentric shaft....
