I have a DSLR and you guys are killing me with the 11:00 thing. But I'll refrain from consuming tasty beverages Friday night so I can hang out :) Can someone give me the address of the Sonic we are going to? That way I don't end up at the wrong one.

dammit!! i just remembered I can't make Saturday. I have to be at Eric's shop for some tint work by 11 :(((

This weekend blows. Let's just scrap it and wait until next Sunday :P

We can do that. Pics at GoG, quickly, then on to Pikes Peak. Those with rotaries can ride along with some tougher piston-driven cars. :)

Lyssa -- sorry about the scheduling, but it's good you remembered your tint appointment!

These are all great ideas. GoG sonic works for me.

I also have a 10mp point and shoot camera that takes great pics for a point and shoot.

OK...here's what we'll do. We'll meet at 11 at the GoG Sonic, take a photo or two there, and see if we have enough people to go up the peak. If we do, we'll drive over there, get to the top, and git er done.

My car is reliable, it is just that my clutch is getting bad and I don't want to chance getting stuck on the mountain.

erod, that is indeed the sonic I was thinking of.

For those who are better with words than pretty pictures, I25 to the Garden of the Gods Road exit. Coming south, you're turning right. Going north, you're turning left. It will be on the right just after the light for Forge Street.

All right, then. 1100 At the Sonic at GoG. Photos at GoG, then a Pikes Peak ascent, if we have enough people.

So far attending are:

1. Stealth01
2. RX-7 Chris
3. Ian1.1
4. Red Roadster
5. Zanity

Anyone else? And which of us are heading up the mountain?

If you get stuck on the mountain all you gotta do is turn around and roll. ;)

I want to make this just for the drive up Pikes Peak. But 2 things are stopping me. Overheating and work.
