I guess this is an ok gift. I WAS supposed to be getting married today, but instead she chose to move overseas. Oh well, new wheels, I guess that kinda makes up for it lol.

Hmmmmm...get married and never be allowed to mod your car again because it's "our money," or get hawt new rims and stay single.

LOL, I don't tell my Fiance what I'm spending my money on, I kind of just do it. But really she's pretty chill about it. It's not like she spends thousands of dollars per year on clothes and shoes...

Yeah, just to clear a couple things up LOL...it wasn't exactly my choice to NOT get married, that choice was made for me haha. And she was always cool with me doing whatever I wanted to the car, she even wanted to buy these wheels for me, but I told her they were too expensive and I didn't want her to spend her money on it. Hindsight being 20/20, I should have let her buy them LOL.

So...being that I had the best of both worlds (still being able to do the things I did as a single guy AND having an awesome gf/fiance (other than her not finding herself able to keep a commitment lol)), I'd have MUCH rather gotten married and STILL modded the car as I saw fit.

However, this way I KNOW there will be nothing standing in the way of the things I want to do to the car...aside from lack of money, that's a day ruiner. LOL

I've been married for 12 years this month and I'm still able to mod my car. We don't have kids so that's a big expense we don't have and generally any large sums of cash we've had at one time were bonuses from my jobs.

Although it's not always better being able to spend whatever you want because we also have a lot of credit card debt because she has trouble saying no to me lol.

Nice wheels btw.

Hiding your funds, don't let the other know how much you have.
