I'll most likely hit you up to for at least one ride...seemed to help the first and only time I went...we'll see tho.

Granted I stand no chance of even being "fast"...

Talbot, you already know but my car is effed right now. The misfire has gotten worse and I don't trust it to be flogged on an autocross course or to make it down to the springs.

I'm not a happy camper right now.

well i had a blast!!! started off in first for my class and kept it untill the last run which i fell to second by 0.4 seconds :( regardless, i was a novice and was kicking ***!!! i would have won, but on my best run i hit a cone, which is a 2 second penalty, so thats how close it was.

i didnt look at much of the other cars times, but i did completely pwn a bmw 335i...by like 5 seconds!

everyone there was awesome, very friendly, and was extremely safe. i would recomend everyone to try and come to at least one of these even if just to watch as its super fun and there are some really cool cars as well.

Lyssa just informed me that according to the online posting of results I won my class!!! 0.316 seconds differentiation between me and Jean, the lady behind me. I am actually really really happy haha.

Oh and btw...I was doing this on street tires, where they were all on race/track tires (Jean had Starspecs I believe)...so that makes it all that much more better hehe

OHHH nice!! xD my final time was 74.15 ... my 1st time was like 78.something I gotta say i'm really disappointed in myself though - During my 74 sec run I was in between 4-7k RPMs When I should be in between 6-10k RPMs.

That was my 1st time racing the car though - So next time i wana be in the 60s

What about you?

Don't shoot for a time goal. The course changes every weekend which means the times change. Just have fun! Make a goal the day of, after you've walked the course.
