Pulled Over Tonight

Postby GR-8 » Mon Nov 22, 2010 9:14

Thought I'd share that I just got pulled over for no apparent reason. Was driving down Federal coming up onto a Red light. I'm about 3 car lengths before the cross-walk and the light turns green. I mildly accelerate to 40MPH. The speed limit. I think where I was it might have dropped to 35. Anyways, the policia were sitting across the street in a buisness parking lot, lights off. Well as soon as I pass them the jump lanes across Federal and come right up to my bumper then hit the lights. I pull off of Federal onto a side street. (I hate when people stop in a main street. They will follow so just move out of the way.) Two officers step out and com up to both windows. I ask nothing as to why I was being pulled over. I was asked for Insurance, License, Registration. I pull wallet out hand over license and am asked where I'm heading. Reply "home" while getting my Insurance and Registration out of the glove box. He asks where that is and I reply with the nearest major cross streets. He then asks where I'm coming from and my big mouth said a meth house down the street........phsyc.....lol.... told him coming from my brother's mother in-laws. I wait for them to run everything they come back and say reason we pulled you over was because you have an altered exhaust and were accelerated pretty quick on Kentuky. Have a good night and drive safe.

Thought I'd just share this story and mention that no front plate is visibel anywhere cause it's under the passanger seat and there was no mention about my tint. This was in Denver for those of you who are wondering. Been a while since I've been pulled over.

Sounds to me they were hoping you had been drinking. But glad you didn't get any tickets out of it.

Ha ha, good story. They sounded cool enough. Yes, perhaps they were bored... or they wanted to get a closer look at a cool car.

Nice joke, btw:lol:

shoulda' bounced on the devils. jk.
Love it when they pull you over for no 'good' reason. They did pretty much exactly the same thing to me in my old car, they both walked up to each side of the window, and when i asked why they pulled me over they said "we saw you coming out of that port-o-potty" and I was like 'what?! uuuuh, no i haven't even been out of my car in the last 30 minutes driving..." they flat out lied, then changed their story to "your window tint is too dark" then they ran my id/ins and let me go...
That's why i'm trying to keep the MS3 low-key, got so sick of being pulled over all the time for no reason in my old one... rather just get pulled over for speeding :)

I was pulled over once in my galaxie with two cop cars. They both got out with guns out of the hulsters. I'm thinking, what could I have done I wasn't speeding or anything. One cop comes up to my window and tells me my tail lights a dirty. I say I will clean them when I get home and that I live on a gravel road. They let me go. I almost shit myself.

Ha sounds like me. I got pulled over at the entrance to 6th to head up in to the mountains. CSP was sitting near the first tunnel and heard me coming since my exhaust resonated through the valley, so he "knew" it was me.

Were you in the 8?

Could have been an alert out for a certain make/model, but an RX-8 is pretty rare.

I got pulled over with a friend in his 4Runner because there was an alert for a green 4Runner (like his) who just had committed a drive-by shooting in the area. Cops pulled us over with guns drawn and told us to put our hands out the window. I was scared shitless haha. Luckily we didn't match the description, the officers apologized, and let us go

Most of you are probably on the right track of them being bored.

Yeah in the 8. I doubt there was an alert and doubt they could even tell/know what an RX-8 is/looks like.
