thats why you wear a helmet. :D lol. yeah people always say that but remember you control your speed. although it is hard to do at times. hit 175 today. good stuff. gotta love speed and power. :D but this bike the 600 is very forgiving, great starter bike or good bike if you know how to whip it around the turns.

everyones scared of bikes? :([/b]

I'm not scared, and I have the scars to prove it. :P

It's just that the MS3 carries the car seat a lot easier.

Not only killed, but tenderized in doing so. (One of the responders was a DOW officer we know, and she actually asked me if I wanted her to get the meat off the deer... I passed.)

We faired OK. I got a broken scapula and road-rash. The wife got just a tiny bit of road-rash and a jammed finger. Totaled the FJR, however. But it all healed and we are still kickin'.

As you said earlier... "That's why you wear a helmet", and I am a true believer in that. If it were not for the helmet, I'd be a "Timmy" fer sure, if not a "Kenny".

Wow, you guys are lucky that is all that happened to you. We had a friend a few months ago that was going down 225 at about 9:30pm and a lady in front of him swerved to miss a deer and it had been to late for him to swerve. Hit the deer and went flying across 225. Wasn't wearing a helmet, or gloves, but did have his jacket on. He saw headlights coming straight at him, and jumped up to get on the side of the highway, if he wouldn't have jumped up, he would have been hit.

Really the only thing that happened to him was a broken ankle, a bunch of road rash on his arms, hands, legs and his scalp, and pulled his arm out of the socket. But other then that he was fine, and extremely lucky!

I love riding, but damn it's so risky.
