Erod (it's Eric right? lol) only said the weather was a factor, so I'm going to take that as a yes :p So tell you friend to come on down! I don't think you will have any problems with tires or anything like you did after the last cruise. From the sounds of it, these roads won't be as bad (I've never driven on them that I remember).

List updated!

Learjet45 wrote:You think you're slow? I'm rocking a 4 banger with an engine rated at 160hp by mazda. Take away all the power loss from actually putting the power to the ground and the altitude, and then factor in curb weight of ~3100lbs iirc, and you end up with one slow mazda :P Mazdas are still really run and responsive, but they still are a lot better than most other cars. I'd take my 6 or a 3 that can do 0-60 in sub 8 seconds from what I've read over a civic that does 0-60 in 9.2 seconds.

Awesome! I was actually going to mention that!

So it looks like people are saying earlier time? I'm good for anything quite honestly. 9, 10, 42 o'clock, I can do it. I think if we left early enough Lyssa could come. How about it?

And turnout is looking great! Lookin' like at least 8-10 drivers and some passengers to ride along. Come on guys and gals! Bring out your cars if you can!

Please our motors are only 1.3L and have two "pistons". :p

And what. The curb weight on the 8 is pretty much that. What? HWhy is the 6 as light as the 8? Same for the 3?

NVM the curb wieght is 2900-3029lbs for the 8. That 3200 lbs is with me sitting in it and all the fluids. I can't wait for bandimere to open. i want to hop up on the scale and see where it's at now with the turbo kit.

mog1017 wrote:Compared to Jimmy's, yeah, I'm slow. I'm working my way up. I should have dyno charts after I'm tuned so we can see what I'm pushing. But I've always thought mazda6's are gorgeous. If I had one and people picked on its speed, I'd just tell them if you were that important, people would wait for you!

I want to see those numbers. Hopefully they are nice gains. I'm not sure that I've seen a dyno sheet for one running on a baby bottle. ;)

I would be happy if my engine was pushing 200whp maybe I can get that with a better exhaust, intake and get an rtek2.1 for a dyno tune.

if not I'll stick an lt1 or lsx (hides from Christi)

I hope so too. My "super secret" tuner is going to try and get me up to a triple digit gain off the bottle :)

When are you going? Are you heading up to Boost Creep? Would it be cool if I come along? If I have the time to?
