It is not possible at this point for you to comprehend how fully badass your car will be. Swaps are frustrating at times and are never without problems. Keep at it and keep posting the build pics. I look forward to seeing it on the road.

im looking foreward to getting it roadworthy but not looking foreward to reworking the factory FC harness. The FSM is useless on an 88 cause the colors are all backwards and nothing makes logical sense, damn production split. Its almost as if half the harness was S4 and they ran out of the rest so they just spliced in S5 to finish the job.

A few years ago I loved wiring stuff up, stereo's speakers subs... now it just brings back bad memories of spending hours and hours trying to untangle a bunch of wires.

Generally I don't mind wiring new things into the car. Even stripping down a wiring harness to make it into a single turbo harness for example, isn't so bad even though it's a little stressful knowing you could kill your car with one errant snip. It's troubleshooting an electrical problem that I REALLY hate.

well the shipping time hasent been to kind with my harness... still waiting for it... hopefully itll be here in a week or so being that it was ordered on the 11th. The harness on the car is all set and ready to go but the long tubes wont fit without major modification. So instead im gonna use some truck manifolds for now and debate later on if I want to flip them foreward and make a turbo setup for it. All was not lost on bad news, I did find a good score at the local scrap yard....
Near mint S5 factory fog lights with perfect mounting hardware and all parts intact, I even got the switch...
And how much would you say for all this value... $60? $100?
It coulda been yours for just one easy payment of $9 But i saw em first.
