So after always being baffled how other people can mess up their rims so bad with curb rash, it finally happened to me. I was backing up in the narrow parking lot at Heuberger with FedEx trucks and everyone else blocking half of the road and in an effort to avoid backing into them, I backed into a curb instead. :\
Needless to say, on my brand new car with less than 4k miles, I don't want to look at this all the time. So does anyone know a wheel shop, preferably in Colorado Springs, that can fix curbed wheels?

I feel your pain,
After i bought M00Se's rims, i somehow managed to scrape every single one within a month. Luckily they are black so I bought black touch up wheel paint which hides the rash a bit... Already re-applied it about 5 times because I keep scraping... BUT i'm getting way better about staying away from the curb, just have to be patient and tilt your mirrors down when parking...
Sorry i know I didn't answer your question at all, just relating.

Ouch that sucks. I had curbed 2 at once and didnt even have the 8 a month yet. I feel your pain.
Off topic, but Randy did you get rid of all your speeds before leaving? Some sales guys at MOL described your 2nd gen speed3 and that it was sold to someone in grand junction with some mods already on it.

Did MOL buy it from Heuberger? It was at Heuberger for a while.
Also, I think I may end up just leaving it. It sucks, but there are so many other things I could spend $100-150 on right now, plus since they are an uncommon color and not just normal silver, they might have a tough time paint matching it. Just like door dings and rock chips, I guess some wear and tear is inevitable. :\

I have a friend with a 2011 STi and another friend with a celestial blue 2nd gen MS3. Just rode in both recently and it's not even close. Granted the MS3 only has an intake and turbo inlet, no AP yet, but the STi with intake and AP is waaay faster. When he gets his downpipe on he's going to be giving me a run for my money for sure.

I miss it from time to time, but the STi is pretty amazing.
