Truth! Don't live in the now, save your cash and put it towards what you really want, otherwise you're just wasting money IMO.

Alright:
Exact time: There isn't one. Supposedly there is going to be a tech day at Mazda of Lakewood the morning before the cruise, but MSP SuperStreet hasn't posted a the thread with any of the info yet. However, the plan is for people who don't go to the tech day to show up between about 2 and 3 PM, and leave from mazda of lakewood at around 3.
The meeting place is Mazda of Lakewood on Colfax.
The cruise should take anywhere from 3-4 hours (about 2 and a half hours of driving time, plus some time for pictures). This means we will be back by about 6:30 or 7 if everything works as planned.
And there should be about 25 people at this point, if everyone who has posted saying they are going is still planning on going. I was going to PM everyone on the list next Sunday (a week before the cruise) to remind them about the cruise. Hopefully everyone will see it within that week time period if they've forgotten.

I've gotten used to having one. I've been sticking to about no more than 5 over since it broke, but I still like to have one. The one I am using now wasn't a very expensive one either. Maybe $100 when we got it a few years ago. It has served me well and has saved me a few times from getting a ticket instead of just telling me that I'm getting one. I'd rather have it just in case.

I know that I could save up for a nice fancy $400+ one and could have put $80 towards it, but unless I hear back from Best Buy or Safeway or anywhere else I've applied and get a job, there's basically no chance of me having that much money any time soon. And I would have ended up spending it on something else if I had tried to save it :p I would have gotten sick of trying to save that much money lol.

Yeah. That one. That's the closest one to me. I'm probably going to apply at the one over at Southglenn by Arapahoe and University and the one on Colorado Boulevard.

I applied at the one at Park Meadows last summer and never heard anything. Tried again a few months ago and it has been the however long of a waiting period it is before your application is removed from the system. Going to apply at the Park Meadows one again today, and possibly Target as well.

After you apply, call them like two days after and ask if anyone has reviewed your application. It goes a long way and will help get your name in the door so to speak. Also, the application is like a test, you can fail it so make sure to answer the questions the way Best Buy would want you to. Don't select answers like "i highly dislike talking to people". That won't get you a job anywhere.

I work for Best Buy and have worked for that store in high school, it's a cool store.

Alright. Thanks for the advice. Yeah, the couple times I've applied there, I've been sure to check answers that seemed like the ones best buy would want to hear :p Going to apply again later today/

I sure as hell hope u didnt actually throw a 300 dollar escort out ur window....cuz ive never seen one under tht price. Mine has saved my *** dozens of times. Its super effective on the highway since troopers use Ka band 99% of the time and i pick them up 2 mi out depending on how flat the road is.

So there was a bit of miscommunication going on. It appears as though the meeting place will be the Home Depot off C-470 and Quincy Ave in Morrison (bigger parking lot, easier to get everyone together.
And with that, the route has been updated, first post changed to reflect the changes, and make sure to show up at the right spot! Sorry for any confusion!
