Was there a scion presence at the show, Karl? The good group, Scinergy, died a couple of years ago.

Now they're represented by Scikotics, which for the most part, suck @$$.

I try to go to alot of shows I cant make every single denver one, because of only getting disability + the price of gas, admission, and my sticky tires Plus me showing doesn't really make sense. Ive been to crappy local car shows. where there were maybe 50 cars. and the winning import car was a bodykited 90's civic that was stock except for an intake and an exhaust, or some fanboy car like a beat down 100% stock NSX or skyline will draw the biggest crowd. and half the time win. even though I see alot more skylines and nsx's than MSM's

No one votes for a miata or even gives it a good look unless its swapped. has a turbo the size of your head or the body is made of carbon fiber and ground unicorn horns.

because of the stigma associated with my car only some mazda guys, or the rare person that understands what my car is. actually appreciates it. it doesnt matter how shiny my paint is, how fast it is, or how much work is done. But then again Im not out there to make the spectators at a car show happy. my car is to make me happy. It will never see a big fartcan. lambo doors, stickers, body kit, or custom paint.

I'd love to show my car off, but a lot of work needs done yet, least of all of it a paint job that doesn't make it look like a hooptie...

There was no scion club presence.
There was only one scion XB belonging to the 5150 Crew.
That Ride was one of the Elite 5 Winners.

I was thinking of having my car made out of elephant tusks. Do you think that would garner some votes?
