The only thing you can really see that changed with the door is the plastic cup by the door pull. If you look at the before, you can see a chunk is missing.

It took me a while to see the door cup also haha. I thought maybe you shampooed the door panels or something but they didn't look that bad to begin with haha.

I used the little screws you gave me to install the shifter boot and it worked great.

I'm not going to be able to make the cruise.

I'm going to be taking the car to Grand Juntion for the weekend of the 4th. I'm going to be getting everything left to do on the car done this weekend. Basically the only thing I have left is rebuilding the OMP. I do plan to give the whole car a once over and make sure everything looks good before the trip.

The worst part of the whole thing is going to be the lack of A/C.

The OMP has be rebuilt. I also pulled and inspected the fuel filter. There was a small amount of rust in the filter but it wasn't clogged. I swapped out the shifter boot with the one I bought, I was able to get it cleaned up. The rear hatch area interior light has also been repaired.

I had a guy I know give my an estimate on the front end frame repair and car repaint. The cost should be under $2000 but I will be helping with the work. I wanted to be involved with the body work and repaint anyway so that makes me happy. I really hope I can get this car done sooner then later.

The car did alright on the trip. I had problems with the car vapor locking both directions. The first time was in georgetown heading over because the traffic was really bad. I also had problems on the way back going up vail pass because it was a parking lot (cars were stuck everywhere).

I figured out the problem though, now I just need to fix it. The fuel lines sit right on the motor under the intake so I need to insulate them and I should be good.
