My only thought would be a junkyard.
Also, if you want a completely remanufactured engine:

$2,100. So it's not cheap. But it is an option if you want to really keep the car and get it running reliably.

I think if you really do want to get it running and keep it running well and reliably, you should invest in the reman engine if you can do a fait bit of the labor by yourself or with the help of friends. That will probably be the easiest way to keep it running because with what you've said so far, it seems as though as soon as one thing is fixed, another breaks. And on older, higher mileage cars, that's going to happen.

As far as compatible motors I can easily find an na block which are said to be able to handle boost better than the turbo motor but then I have to worry about oil and coolant lines and I really don't feel like messing with those and I'm sure the motor is fixable because it siezed then broke lose again but I think I can find a new bottom end for cheaper then it would be to rebuild mine
the bottom end of the f2 and f2t are as stout as they come. the only way ive seen them fail is with a complete lack of maintenance or a bad tune on a larger turbo setup. are you sure it seized? have you done a compression test?
if the motor is bad.....pulling one from a yard is your best bet in my opinion. the oil and coolant lines will be a breeze since youll have it all out and it will be accessable. but i would personally go with the n/a motor for its slightly higher compression
you can bolt in an fe3 no problem. a kl swap isnt too difficult, or even an sho
feel free to pm me if theres anything i can help with.

Alright so we did a compression test and it was 120 all the way accross so that leads me to think the bottom end might be ok but the wierd thing is when we put the test on cylinder 4 it made this wierd grinding noise randomly seemed to go with the stroke just random times though and it sounded like it was by the pumps which is wierd
it wasnt too much work to make that much power. i posted a build thread on this forum and on mx6.com
you really should go to mx6.com for your f2 related question/searches, thats where all the good info is. probetalk is a good forum but mostly for kl engines
