Woo. Picked up some sways from an '06 S60R. I had been planning on going with the 25/22 setup from IPD, but didn't want to shell out $440, even with the wife's approval. The next day, a local person posted his sways that I picked up for $50. So I'll be going from a stock setup of 19mm f/ 14mm r to 23.5/21.

Yet another thing to add to the big ol' list of fun this week.

Yeah, I'll snap a few pics while I'm going through the various work this weekend. If for no other reason, to at least make sure I can put it all back together. Ha.

Operation Tear-Down commences tonight, provided the garage isn't 12,000 degrees (stupid SW facing garage). Picked up the gasket/o-rings I needed from the Volvo dealer last night, set me back about $4. So the list of things while the fam is out of town is:

Fuel filter (bought the filter when I bought the car and STILL haven't put it on)
control arms + ball joints
turbo line gasket/o-ring - The stubby swivel torx I ordered for this job that supposedly make it significantly easier are getting delivered today. Most people just leave the oil leak and deal with it. I hate oil leaks.
S60R downpipe and F/R sways.

The hold up for not starting last night was I was too damn lazy after being at Waterworld all day.

I'll take some pics tonight, although they'll be of the camera phone variety. The wife has permanently stolen my camera.

I'm sure it'll be sweltering in the garage tonight so my only plans are to get it on jack stands, hit the DP bolts with PB blaster and let it sit overnight. I'm adding a second shop light to the garage tonight as well. I wish I could add lights in the floor.

I'm with you there. Sucks having to have a trouble light in your way just so you can see under the car. It's why I like working in my garage in the morning (east-facing garage). Lots of light coming in from outside.

Oh, and I have 1 light bulb and my garage door opener as my only lighting in the garage, lol. So I don't really work on cars at night, heh. I have a couple shop lights, I just need to get them hung and wire them up.

I added 2 shop lights in my garage a few years back. It was a real easy job. The lights I ran had a plug so I ran new ceiling mounted outlets and stuck a couple of eye bolts in the ceiling.

That's all I did last night. Right now I've got them into a light bulb outlet thingy until I properly run some outlets in the ceiling.
