Friendly Dealers in Colo

Postby urville » Wed Aug 24, 2011 9:14

I searched here and CO is missing from the official list here:
http://www.mazdaspeedforums.org/forum/f505/official-mazdaspeed-forums-nationwide-dealer-awesome-list-28692/

Can anyone comment on the best dealers for service here? I mean I'd go back to stock first but you know how it is, stealerships come in all flavors of good and bad.

STH can be cool. At least when a certain service mgr was in charge. They'd tell you what to take off or could leave on depending on the service that may be needed.
I've heard different things about MOL. Claim to be the "mazdaspeed" headquarters for CO but I've heard of people being turned down.

MOL blows chunks, I wouldn't go there, period. Ditto Gateway. Maybe McDonald or Groove.

Groove FTW.

When you go in and talk to either Spencer or Kenny in Service, tell them that Brandon with the Black Cherry MS6 sent you. They will treat you well.

Good to know. Anyone here know if TSB's are covered by the dealer even if your warranty is up? I'm getting that clicking in the front drivers side wheel at take off/slight reverse. Believe there is a TSB for a replacement hub lock ring or nut...?

Where are these guys when I go there? Granted, I'm rarely (if ever) there, but when I am...I don't recall getting treated well:rolleyes:

Mazda of Lakewood fixed mine last week. Noise is now gone.

I refuse to take my car to Sil-Terhar.
1) I have a problem with my shifter - all i needed was a second set of eyes to see what was going on in the engine bay and see that the shifter was banging up against the intake. They couldn't figure it out for the life of them. 'Return the car to stock - everything - and then we can take another look.' - are you fooking kidding me.

2) I take my car in for panels that don't seem to fit properly on the driver's side, thinking maybe some adjustment screws could fix it (it's what I was told), and also for squeaky shocks in the front driver and passenger. They ride along with me, acknowledge that a fix is required, work on my car all morning and tell me that the car panels can't be fixed, the squeaky suspension couldn't be remedied, and they cracked my windshield in the process. They did, however say if I return my car to completely stock form (mind you I have no aftermarket suspension, just performance mods) they could take another look. are you fooking kidding me.

3) I get a windshield replaced and go through a process of having my tint guy replace the visor tint - he was easy to work with. However sil-terhar didn't quite have a grasp on the situation as the windshield repair guys were calling back and forth trying to find out how they were going to get paid. My name wasn't on file etc. etc. Then they tell me I have to drive up there (not near where I live) so they can refund money to my credit card. I drive up there and they say 'no, we'll just cut you a check, however we can't do it until later this week on Friday.' - are you fooking kidding me.

MOL isn't so bad. Just ask to talk to Henry. He'll take care of you. They looked at my suspension with no questions asked.

You didn't tell them that brandon sent you:D. I took my car there to get keys programmed and threw a bit of a tantrum, but after that, they have been super cool...I've got horrible people skills, but i am working on it:mellow:

Kenny and Spencer are solid. There parts people haven't given me a call back after 3 calls, so I won't buy parts there, but I was leaning more towards custom/aftermarket work anyway.

I have had excellent service at Courtesy Mazda but it is up near Longmont. Also just had the best experience there buying a car I have ever had. I have been going there for over two years....

I called STH last night to ask about the TSB for the ticking front driver's side wheel. Had no idea what I was talking about. Do you have a copy of the work they did at MOL to fix or possibly the TSB#?

Just spoke to Devon at MOL. Knew exactly what I was talking about and he remembered you..(Paul?) Anyway, my car is out of warranty now so total cost for them to fix is $200. Wonder if I can do it myself???? Anybody know of a DIY out there?
