Looking for a job.

Postby christi » Thu Dec 01, 2011 9:14

Currently I am in Pueblo, CO working for AT&T. But with the silly requirements they are pushing the reps to do in order to SUSTAIN a job is killing me and half of the call center. I love AT&T as a company, but the center I work for is just unrealistic with the way they're running things.

I can do anything and everything - most I've done was call center work. I prefer working no more than min. amount of 11.50$/hr. I'm willing to relocate IF it is bound to be anywhere in Colorado. I'm looking out East as well (PA/DE/DC) etc... incase I cannot manage to snag a job here. Here's my job info, maybe you guys can give me some ideas? I may not have a job after new years, since AT&T is union based, I just sent my information to my union rep to file for grievence - so we'll see how this matches up.

For those on Facebook who recommended me IKEA/IBM/staples call center, etc I'm still looking at those. Here's my resume:

I know how that is with these companies. I already mentioned this to you Christi, get your rear out of Pueblo and move to Denver, more opportunity.

Got laid off last Wednesday due to lack of work, been with them for 5 years. I just submitted for unemployment benefits and got my last paycheck. I'll take anything besides fastfood, but would like to focus on the graphics design field.

Christi, get in with Fed Ex or UPS if you can. Those are great companies with good benefits if you stay long term

You too Henry!

^I'm thinking about doing one of those myself after I retire. I wouldn't mind driving around all day delivering stuff.

IIRC, they actually pay pretty decent too. A friend's dad was a delivery driver for UPS back when I lived in Florida. Good luck with the job hunt!
