FD Sighting at Carl's Jr Yesterday

Postby RichB » Thu Dec 15, 2011 9:14

I was in the springs yesterday and I drove by the Carl's Jr on Voyager Pkwy by Northgate Blvd at around noon and saw a pretty sweet FD in the parking lot. Was it any of you guys?

No not stock. The exterior at least has heavily modified. I think it was black but I saw a lot of carbon fiber too. The things I saw right away was a body full kit, 18" or 19" staggered wheels, and the stationary HID headlight mod.

That's all I saw from the quick glimpse I got from passing by....

I saw one kinda like that a couple days ago. Black or some other dark color, scoot hood, i think it had feed skirts and a re amemiya rear diffusor, big potato launcher exhaust.

Wait a minute...that sounds a lot like my car, but I'm not around to drive it.

LOL.

Actually just a couple of those things sound like my car haha. The one Rich saw sounds like Simon, the one Jason saw sounds more like mine haha. Maybe we have another FD in the area WOOHOO!!! Or maybe Zico painted the rest of the CYM to black. lol

Yeah Simon is parting out the car and selling everything. I'm getting his front bumper and a few other things. I'm still pretty bummed about it.

I didn't see the back of the car to get an ID on the exhaust but I did see a wing back there....

^Yeah that was probably Simon's car. He has RE Amemiya sleek lights, the full FEED widebody kit, FEED wing, Enkei RPF1s powdercoated black (same wheels as in my sig), the car is completely blacked out.

The wheels weren't black. They were silver....

I don't think so, but I'm not sure on that. I think he said he was going to start this weekend.

Whizbang wrote:why is he parting it out?

He's trying to do some career changes, and some other issues too are making him re-evaluate having the car right now I think. Well he's on this forum, maybe he'll chime in for himself haha.

Oh, never mind then. Maybe it was John, or it might have been Andy too.

Did you get a good enough look at the wheels? Were they Work Meisters or Volk TE37s? Andy has the Work wheels with polished lips and Andy has TE37s replicas and I think they're silver.
