Haha Eric, I actually thought of doing water injection. Can't find too many VW guys doing it already, wonder why? I'm not terribly concerned about it right now since I have the warranty, though.

So the dealership (Ehrlich VW/Nissan in Greeley, great guys, BTW) detailed the car pretty good before I got it yesterday, but of course I had to do more this morning. Used Turtle Wax ICE quick detail spray and finished with Meguiars Ultimate Quik-Wax. Just a quick detail:

Hard to believe this paint is 5/6 years old!

Hard to get a good angle of the seats so you can see the aggressive bolsters, but here you get the idea:

Holy wheel gap batman! Maybe my first mod will be lowering springs!

Swap the seats to the FD? LOL

When I posted those pics of the turbo last week or so, I hosted them on photobucket and they showed up as two different sizes when I posted them here, so I know what you mean. I have no idea why it did that.

Haha I thought about it, Eric. They are really, really nice. Heated too. I don't think they would fit in the FD tho (plus, then I wouldn't have the nice seats in my nice new car haha)

Thanks! Yes, tint is on the short list. Going to be visiting Eric at his shop (Eclipse) pretty soon!

There is a new aftermarket CF coming out that's supposed to last past 100k. And if you do end up doing w/m, the sooner the better. My carbon build up is impressive (in a not so good way). I'm going for a drive tomorrow out to Red Feather lakes, if you're game.

Ordered my first "mod", although it really isn't a mod, it's just an accessory. Silicone key case (like a cell phone case)

Really tho, still loving the Jetta. After researching all the popular tunes/flashes, I'm taking the Vdub to Autosport Werks in Broomfield sometime this spring for the Unitronic Stage 1+ tune. 250whp/292lb-ft at the wheels, no other parts needed. I'm excited haha.

European Motosports in FOCO loads Uni tunes also, if you're not set on one shop.

Oh yeh and remebering our talk, I picked up a CC a few days ago. Dang thing was pricey, but I wanted one that would keep the engine bay "clean".

I miss having a switchblade fob. I would fidget with that thing all the damn time.

Which CC did you get? I'm still looking at one but it won't be until I'm out of warranty more than likely.

Haha yeah I had one with my old RX-8. I like it, but I do play with it a lot too.
