Well he said they already finished the faces, so I don't have a choice now anyway haha. I asked him what they did but he wouldn't tell me, he said he's making me wait to tease me haha.

Well, here is a pic of one of the faces. I'm not crazy about these at all. I may end up having to sell these and just get some TE37Vs when they come out with my sizes, and I know they will. Or I'll get them in the 17" sizes and offsets that will already work for me. I don't think it counts against me if they never make it on my car LOL.
Let me just say, I've seen wheels before that don't look all that great when it's the wheel alone, but once it's on the car you like the look of it a lot more.

Exactly. I told them I wanted a flat face if I couldn't get concave, as flat as possible anyway, and these are definitely looking convex. Also, the PCD dive is nothing like how it was in the renderings. Just compare it to the renderings in my first post. He was really surprised I didn't like them haha. If I'd known that they are making TE37Vs larger and larger, I would have just waited for them to make 17s and get those instead. They aren't 3 piece, but at least they are closer to what I'm wanting otherwise.

Those TE37Vs are hot as shit. If you don't get them, I will!
I also personally think 17's are perfect on the FD, but I might be biased haha. Plus, they make more economical sense (although I realize this is low on the priority list for many) but just look at the difference in cost of tires between 17 and 18" sizes. It's around an extra $400 a set ($100 per tire) to get 18's.

That wing would look good on your car too!
I think you are going to be dissappointed if you like the looks of those wheels. The faces of the ones being built are far from flat or your preferred concave.
I noticed in one of the photos in the original post a set of concave rims that were chrome behind the faces like yours, but they looked more like a mesh wheel like the Enkei EKM3s that I like (for my car). Did they say why the 6 spoke wheel faces couldn't be concave. I can't imagine the load being any different on the spokes really, but I haven't really investigated that numerically.

Yeah those were CCW Classics. I almost got some of those but I'm not crazy about that specific mesh design. There is just way too much material on the face of that wheel. Other than that, they're great looking wheels haha. It's actually a classic design on the FD, but so many people have those now anyway. I believe it was just that their machine wasn't capable of cutting concave on 18" faces. After that he mentioned that straight spokes were more durable than concave ones. However, most of their wheels bow out, and I don't see how them bowing out is much different than being concave...how it can be safer I mean. To me it would be the same, because you're still putting the same kinds of loads and stresses on them.
