that's why you go to Burt.. you wouldn't have these problems.. When Ed says he is going to do something, he does it that day. If he can't get to it that day, he will call and let you know right away. He is seriously the best Mazda shop Manager, actually he is the best shop manager that I have ever been to, and I'm not saying that because my husband works for Burt.. I started going to Burt way before Josh-Pooh bear ever worked there. I know your way up North, but it might be worth the drive down to Burt when you have problems, questions anything really.

I've been treated good by GO. I bought a used 6 there in 2004 and it came with only 1 key and came in a week later and they had my key, no problems at all. When I was looking for a Speed3, the guy from sil-ter-har blew me off without even letting me drive a standard 3 to see if I liked it, so I refuse to go there...

I met Ed today and Josh for the first time. He seemed really cool. Takes care of everyone almost at once from what I observed. He really doesn't waste time when doing anything. Checked my CEL made an apointment for next week to check the tranny and I was off. Josh looked in on how much a blank key would be for the switchblade fob and I was off on my way back home. Burt is a mutch more...I can't find the word I'm looking for.....Somebody help......Better,? place than Lakewood or Gateway. They seemed very busy there and every one was doing something unlike lakewood where it takes 15min and then some to get out of there when your the only person there at the moment. Multi-tasking is how you get buisness done. Not by doing one thing at a time.

It sapped all your power? That totally sucks, did you at least get a increase in gas mileage?
I did, and it took so much power from my car.... it was done a while back, but i could never find this thread. lol[/b]

when was the recall done and when did you compare the mpg difference? I know my mileage goes down
in the winter....not sure if it the result of how they alter the gas for the winter or that I have more things
running in the car such as the heater or I let it idle more so it and I can warm up or something totally unrelated
but I can't think of it right now, but I am totally in the grove with this run on sentence and don't want to stop...
not really, i think it even hurt that, or it's the place that I go for gas. I was getting close to 300 on a tank, sometimes even more. Now I'm lucky to get 270[/b]

The recall was done... umm. Begining of November I wanna say? I would have to look at the papers in my glove box. I drive the same way to work and home everyday, and usually do the same things on the weekend when i drive. I usually drive about the same too, unless I'm feeling happy and I like to drive a little faster. lol It might have a lot to do with where I have been taking her to get filed up. I used to go to Conoco, and she sipped it. Now I'm going to Shell and I have never had good luck with their gas, even my little neon hated that place, and so did my 3.. I might have to go back to Conoco or diamond Shamrock

From what iv read on the 3 forums ect, this flash killed a lot of power to all those who got it done. I think this is the same flash Lee got an he said he noticed a significant difference in power after they re-flashed his ms6. Makes me nervous that when i go to get an oil change they will do me the "favor" of re-flashing mine..... im going to make sure that they don’t.

If you go to Burt, they won't do anything unless they ask you first. So you shouldn't have that problem. Josh had taken my car in to get a light on my dash turned off, and more air in my tires, and while in there he asked them to update all the recalls without asking me.... I get in to my car and notice it doesn't drive as nice as it did before..

That is good to know. Some of the guys on the 3 forums brought their ms3's in for an oil change and the dealer did the re-flash without asking/telling them. Thats the only thing im afraid of; surprise your now slower!
And thats why i like Burt, no surprises, straight upfront people.

Ahahaha! Come on yours sounds great!
this reflash with the power sapping appears to only be related to the turbo engines? On mine it is hard to lose power
when you never had it to start with...[/b]
