Needless to say, the decision to move forward with 18" Speed wheels is a go. Still leaning toward Speed6 wheels, though.

We should mount my stock 17" wheels on there so you can see the intermediate size.

the funny thing was that we put one of his 16s on my speed, and it BARELY cleared the caliper. the weights on the wheel came to about an 1/8th of an inch of clearance.

I'd say try 17's. I saw a sedan with 18's the other day and it looked goofy imo

If it was lowered on 18s it would be fine...I think, but maybe not.

I ran 16" rims in winter with snow tires on my MS3 and while clearance was tight, I never had any issues.

I don't think there is much, if any, difference between the MS3 brakes and the S brakes. The i brakes are different for sure though.

Busy weekend! Once again helped Josh with his Speed3, and since he upgraded shift knobs, I picked up his old Blox 490g knob. Shifting is much easier now.

Also Plasti-dipped my front badge... looks good IMO.

Finally got my Speed6 18" wheels! Next step is to powdercoat them, then I'll put some meat on them hopefully by next spring (still on new tires now). Haven't fully decided on color yet. Suggestions? So far I am thinking gunmetal grey.

I was going to post a silly thing about the whole step 1 step 2 ??? profit meme. Then I looked at the pictures on the first page.
Step 1 and only: Moar low before getting tires for new wheels.

Your 3 looks like a 4x4 on 18s with the way it sits now, it does look silly :p Plus, you can use t3h uber gas mileage increazez from less drag from moar low to get new tires y0!
