I'm willing to wait if it means I don't need to do it by myself. I had a large quantity of iced tea (unsweetend thankfully) dump on my rear floor board today (faulty nalgene bottle). The carpet will make a nice difference in the car.
The car is seeking direction again.
Imminent Work to be completed:
Replace carpet (carpet already at home)
Rear seat covers from wet okole to match the fronts
tinted side markers and tails
Koni Sport (yellow) struts
wish list
paint (Black Cherry Pearl)
wheels (I'm liking the cosmetics and price of the Drag DR33 in white at the moment)
Tires 225/45/17 Hankook Ventus R-s3 would be nice
replaced or dyed headliner (black)
covered pillar panels (Black vinyl)

Rod knock in Cylinder 4. Word is a new engine. Erod found a reman for 2500. I don't have a lift nor the wherewithall to fix it myself.
Car is for sale. With all that i have done to it and the general overall quality, I'd like to get 5k for it. I have all useable stock parts for it in addition to extra center console pieces.

So, what are you getting next?
Right now I am looking at different Cooper S models. Sort of torn between the supercharged version and the newer turbo version. The introduction of the clubman further complicates things.
If any of you first gen owners have any interest in any of my parts, let me know. My plan really is to trade in, so I'm not going to be trading a car in with parts that they won't give adequate value too.
So here are some parts that should come off (IMO):
Goodridge Stainless Brake Lines (would need stock brake lines + cash)
Hawk HPS Pads (would need your pads in trade + cash)
Centric Premium Rotors
Mazdaspeed RSB (I have no inclination to take the front back apart)
Koni Yellow rear shocks (Would need stock shocks+ cash in trade)
Eiback Pro kit springs
SBC Rear Camber Arms (adjustable)
Interior door panels with professionally done perforated red vinyl (Would need stock door panels in exchange)
Wet Okole seat covers (black with red piping)
REdline Goods Shifter boot, E Brake Boot, and arm rest cover. Black leather/black perforated leather, and red piping
carbon fiber vinyl covered center console
JBR Racing Passenger motor mount (would need stock mount + cash)
Street Unit Rear Motor Mount
Simota Carbon Fiber SRI
extra set of clear side markers
Brand new carpet kit for a 1st gen hatch
Rear cargo mat
Pictures for this stuff are located throughout my build thread.

Sad to see the 3 go since you had a lot of work done on it.
SC vs TC... I think it depends on how much you're planning on doing with the power wise. If not much, I would go with SC, just smaller pulley would give you a good boost increase. Cheap and simple. If you're planning to do a lot, then go with Turbo.

I'm sorry about the 3; I wish I could help fix it....
I thought you said you were looking at something bigger, i.e. more cargo space?

Cargo isn't as important as I thought it was after mulling it over with my wife. Whatever I end up with will end up having a hitch on it for bikes, and I'd put a roof rack on it for skis. I do not intend to do nearly as much to the next car. Short shifter and shift knob is it that I can think of.
