Ok sounds good to me. Also thanks Eric for showing me how to tune a little on your car, got some knowledge from there and it helped.

The meet last night at Denver was a good time, except Zico not getting his FC started and the cops that showed up due to a puppy pitbull bit a lady's lip/face off (well something happened with the lady and the dog, thats what the other people told us), but 1 of police officers was arguing with my dad (the officer was cussing at him) Cory ( my brother) and I told him to just drop it, the cop was being a dick, but its whatevers stuff happens.

Today I filled it up with some gas, but no battery what so ever so im just gonna charge it all night and see if we can start it tomorrow.

No problem. I have to mess with it some more because now it's not wanting to return to idle, so I'm going to put an older known-good map back on and tinker some more.

Oscar told me last night about the dog bite. I didn't know about the cop and your Dad and Cory though. When we were about to leave I was going to tell the cops what we were trying to do just to be sure they'd leave us alone but I'm glad I didn't now.

I went up with the trailer last night and got Zico and his car by the way. Turns out my brakes on the trailer don't work as well as I thought, I had MAJOR brake fade coming down the hill on Powers to N. Carefree. Sigh.

Just let me know what you want to do with the car. I'm going to try to fix the couple things on my car and pull the weeds along the side on Constitution because the city is being a dick again lol. And probably help Zico get the car off the trailer. That should be fun. Other than that not much going on.

Today, we went and hooked up the battery, changed the old spark plugs with some brand new NGK spark plugs, then BOOM started right away but after we turned it off it takes awhile to start it up again. The idle is at 1500 rpms but will adjust it later. Then after that we took it for a little spin around the neighborhood, it drove fine until we saw a puddle of antifreeze and it was coming from the same spot around the water neck and a spot in the radiator. We are gonna take out the radiator and find that spot, weld a fitter in it and im probably gonna run a AST.

First I took out the water neck (the plastic piece) and it looks like its been beaten up.

I think this caused the leak

After I took off the piece, I took off the O-Ring that was there and it was hard and crispy. Scraped off the silicone and it was flakey.
Image
I found some gauges in the back compartment, we installed the Water Temp. gauge and the Boost gauge. IMO I do not like the silicone part it looks ghetto & maybe can cause a problem.

I also got the passenger side door lock installed finally, the piece was under the driver side seat when I was vaccuming the mats.

For the wideband I looking into AEM is that a good wideband to buy? I might get a 3 pillar or maybe combine the single pillar and the double one into a 1 piece and mount it on the side (dont know how im gonna do that now) or just mount the double pillar on the side & buy a single/double pillar to mount on the dashboard in the middle.

The Greddy FMI I have inside my room, I might install that too.

Hopefully all that's done I should be ready for a tune.

When I bought my wideband several years ago, my buddy told me not to get an AEM because they don't read high or low enough. Honestly though, I think it'll fulfill your needs and from what I've heard they read higher and lower now anyway.

Yeah I recommend getting a new filler neck plastic piece. Remember that the cooling system needs to be pressurized, if not is going to overheat rather quick.

I can sell you my AEM, I need to upgrade anyways.

I prefer Innovate since from all the forums I have read it reads more consistently accurate since it has a built in method to calibrate it. AEM has some good ones just make sure the sensor is a Bosch sensor as they can handle the heat better than other sensors.

If you get the sensor other than Bosch, you can put a heat sink on it to help it last longer and you can put it a little further back in the system. Mine is directly under the shifter but I put it there due to cable length.

It looks like im buying Eduardo's wideband. Just dont know when though.

Today, I got my radiator back from the welding shop, looks good. Went to go test fitted it and it worked perfectly. Got the hoses hooked up, now since I have one missing apexi air filter and one chewed up by the dog, we found my dad's after-market filters and so we took the filters and mounted them with rubber/plastic pipings it worked and not bad looking but still ghetto IMO and its only tempory at the moment. Since my dad didnt buy a new water neck piece and did the ghetto method on it theres no leaks except at the water temp. gauge fitting on the water neck. Water temp. says its around 90*C/180-190*F. My front mount pipings didnt go through the radiator so im not gonna install it no more. Ughhhh and later today our pipings/drains for our bathrooms were clogged up by tree root! Took us forever to get rid of and we also put chemicals to kill the roots.

Today, dad told me Ivans shop has a spot for us to get the 7 painted until Friday, so now I'm taking out the rubber door pieces, panels, the plastic accessories in the trunk (I'm also painting the inside trunk), tail lights, and I think that should be it. I actually wanna do the 99 spec conversion on my tail-lights like Eduardo(VRx8) did to his tail lights.

Also my Greddy FMI pipings didnt go through the radiator, thinking selling this FMI and getting a V-mount.

I ordered the water neck plastic piece this morning from RX7.com. Should be coming in Friday/Monday. Hopefully this will fix my leak.

Here's a pic of a APR GTC200 with Universal mounts on it (havent mounted it yet) kinda like it though
