It will be quite some time, but I'd turbo it. Right now, it has plenty of go for me.

Just wait until you're throwing yourself into the door panel and center console at the Auto-X :D

Something tells me Ron's doesn't quite fit the "Miata mold"

Thanks guys.the s has been fun so far. Eric is right on though. With the extra hp and handling of the , the miata crowd lost their utter dominance in that group, though very good drivers will still win in a miata and bad drivers like me will still get owned in a s.

Not really sure what to do with myself in the car though. Right now I'm feeling it out. It is super fun, but I get a sense you bettter be paying attention if you want to open the car up.

The car is home for the first time tonight. Gave it a bath (metal), quick vacuum and interior wipe down. Will do sone cleaning in some right areas later, but this thing is in far better shape than the 3 when I brought it home.

Things to do:
Visit ecam
Learn proper maintenance of convertible top
Learn how the convertible top cover works
Tint tails
Tint windows
Visit man cave for thoughts on sone small scratches and rock chips followed by clear bra.

Might be interested in trading wheels for 17 s. I like the specs of these but they are going to make for expensive tire replacement.

The biggest change you have to account for now is you went from a low power (relative) FWD to a medium powered RWD. Welcome to the world of power oversteer, and using the throttle pedal to turn. :D

Amanda (16), went from driving my low powered Miata to a well prepped S2000 this year. She says the Miata doesn't have enough for her (After one year in Auto X with a permit!). Can't argue with her, she is faster than I am in the same car these days. After the younger (13) daughter gets a chance to drive (and get bored) with the Miata, we'll see what the future will hold for the Miata (turbo, LS, flux capacitor...).
